Tuesday Top Ten

Good Morning!

It is Top Ten Tuesday and today's topic is,  Ten Books I Feel Differently About After Time Has Passed. As always, Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and if you would like to participate in future TTT, please see the link for more information.

1. The Morganville Vampires
The first time I read through the first few books, I liked it, thought it was cute and all. But returning to it for a reread, I just couldn't get through it.

2. The Entire Marked Series
I never really liked this series, but I read through quite of few of the books because I like one the non main characters and I was curious what they were going to do with her. Sadly, this series got to be more of a drama queen series than having an actual plot.

3. Shiver
I loved Shiver the first time I read it, the characters and the whole wolf thing. But after reading the entire series a second time, It just felt a little disconnected. I felt like more the character's flaws were coming out.

4. Linger
Again, the same feelings as Shiver. I became annoyed with characters and their reactions.

Comment below with books that you feel differently about. Have a wonderful Tuesday.

May Owlcrate Box

Hello Friends,

I hope you all are having a wonderful Monday. This weekend, I received my May Owlcrate Box. I am so excited to share with you all the wonderful goodies and the book all in this month's box.

The theme for May's box is steampunk and very much inspired by The Infernal Devices trilogy. I am not familiar with this series as I have never read it (I know...I fail)

The goodies I received in box are (starting back left, going towards the right):

From Elope, a cute pin that is shape as a cog piece with wings attached.
A wonderful art print from Creative Daffodil Studios. It is a beautiful print honoring J.M. Barrie.
Nail wraps from espionage. They are have fun glitter print with cog pieces.
A beautiful skeleton key necklace from Crystal Compass Designs.
Oh and a gorgeous ring from Sparks Emporium. I am so love with the design that is on this ring. Here is a close up look for you all to see.

Last but not least, this month's read is...

The cover is beautiful plus it is a retelling of Peter Pan steampunk style. This should be an awesome read.

Have a wonderful day friends.

Top Ten Tuesday - Ten Characters you'd love to revisit.

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.

Good Morning, I hope your week is going well. Today is Tuesday and so we are here with another Top Ten Tuesday. This week we will be listing the top ten characters you would love to revisit years later, 10 years or even 20. My choices are below, in no particular order:

Anna and St.Clair from Anna the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins
I would love to see how things are going, how meeting St. Clair's mother was, or even Anna's little brother. Are they still living in California? Oh, I just love these two.

Captain Wentworth and Anne from Persuasion by Jane Austen.
I know this would not be looking in the future technically, but I would love to revisit them in their future. This book is truly my favorite Austen novel. (Shhh..don't tell Mr. Darcy)

Sydney and Adrian from The Bloodline Series by Richelle Mead.
How cute are they, seriously?! I love this series and they are my favorite couple in the entire VA series. I would love to know how much Adrian has changed or has he at all? Are their little Ivashkovs running around?

Belle from Beauty and the Beast.
How is it living with the Prince, now that he is no longer a beast? But most importantly, can we check out that library?

Jane and Mr. Rochester from Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte
I feel Mr. Rochester had his guard up in life due to his horrible past, and to see through the book how the guard slowly came down, I would like to know and see is that guard still down, are they still living at Thornfield?

It is a good thing with books, we can always revisit our favorite characters. Comment below with a few of your characters you would like to revisit and as always...

Friday Favorites

T.G.I.F!! Well it is still Friday somewhere, right?

I hope your week went well. I am looking forward to having a relaxing Saturday and catch up on some reading.  Here are a few of my favorite pictures or even articles from this week.

Harry Potter painted on a wall. ~ How amazing is this idea, and how well it came out in the end.

How well do you know Luna Lovegood. ~ A little quiz on my fellow house mate, Luna. (Ravenclaw for the win!)

Would you be asked to dance in a Jane Austen Novel? ~ yup, another quiz. I would not be asked to dance.

On to happier things...

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. Comment below with what book you would like to have painted on your walls. See you all next week.
